The Media Award (Broadcast) recognised
Sue Lloyd-Roberts  and producer James Clayton for their BBC Newsnight film on women fleeing female genital mutilation. Special recognition was given to the London Evening Standard, for its consistent reporting and campaigning work on female genital mutilation.

 

Sue passed away in October 2015 and her husband Nick Guthrie, kindly agreed for the Women on the Move Award’s media award to be named after her.
